Foundation was just named to the Clutch 100.
The Clutch 100 recognizes the top 100 fastest-growing B2B service companies in the world, based on verified revenue growth. And we’re on it.
My first reaction wasn’t pride, exactly. It was more like… gratitude. And a quiet moment of reflection on how wild this whole thing actually is.
I grew up in Preston, Nova Scotia. A small community just outside of Dartmouth. Not a tech hub. Not a startup ecosystem…
And yet.
Here we are.
Doing world-class work for some of the biggest B2B brands on the planet… All started right here on the East Coast of Canada…
That still hits different every time I think about it.
Canva. Eventbrite. Paychex. Hubspot. Reddit. LinkedIn. Procore. RBC & more…
And that’s just some of the brands we’ve worked with over the years.
I’m not in San Francisco. I’m not in New York. I’m not in London. I’m in Halifax.
And our team is distributed across the globe, bringing perspectives and talent that I genuinely don’t think we could have assembled any other way.
There’s something I love deeply about that. The idea that geography doesn’t have to be a ceiling. That you can attract incredible people, serve incredible clients, and build something that earns its spot on a global list… from wherever you are.
What this award actually represents
Clutch bases this list on real revenue growth. Verified numbers from 2024 to 2025. Nothing inflated. Nothing theoretical.
That growth came from a team that works hard, holds each other to a high standard, and genuinely cares whether the work moves the needle. It came from strategists who stayed in the data until they found something worth acting on. From creatives who pushed ideas further than the brief required. From operators who made sure nothing slipped through the cracks.
I didn’t build this alone. I want to be clear about that. The members of our team carry our mission every day. They are the reason we grew. They are the reason clients stay. They are the reason Foundation is what it is…
This is their award.
Why I’m sharing this beyond just celebrating…
I want someone from a small town to read this and feel something shift.
Because I remember what it felt like to wonder whether where I was from would limit where I could go. Whether the distance from the “right” cities meant I’d always be on the outside of the industries I wanted to be part of. In fact…
I remember working at a local agency and getting a magazine delivered. It was a local business magazine. It was the “Top CEOs” in the region… I looked closely and can remember being so inspired by all the people on that list. But no one on that list looked like me or came from Preston. That made me scratch my head a bit. Not to a point where I felt discouraged… But it definitely made me feel something.
And today… I like to think that Foundation is proof that you can build something world-class from anywhere…
And that Nova Scotians can compete on a global scale.
Anyone… Willing to put in the work… Can compete on a global scale.
Refuse to let your zip code (or postal code) define your ceiling.
That’s the real thing I want people to take from this…
AND…. If you’re thinking about your next career move
If you’re a marketer, strategist, creative, or operator looking for a place to do the best work of your career…
Foundation might be that place.
We work on real problems for serious B2B brands. We move fast. We think deeply. And we’re building toward something with a longer arc than most agencies ever attempt. We’re remote-friendly. We’re growing. And we’re always looking for exceptional people who want to be part of something that’s just getting started. Check out foundationinc.co/careers if that sounds like you.
To the team…
This one’s yours. Every bit of it.
The work you do matters more than you probably realize on any given Tuesday. Keep going.
Appreciate you all.
