I know how challenging it is to lock down someone who will educate, engage and entertain a crowd.
I’ve planned many events over the last few years and have ultimately worn two sets of shoes as both the planner and presenter. No matter how big or how small the audience, it’s always important to lock down speakers who can deliver value and keep the audience’s attention. I get that.

I’m asked to speak at conferences, provide seminars and a handful of other types of events on a weekly basis. I can’t say yes to everything but I can promise that I’ll always give 110% when I agree to take on the role of speaker for your event.
For me, the best type of events are those with a goal of inspiring people to become their best or informing people of the many benefits that technology has offered organizations and individuals.

Here’s a little bit about me…
I’m a digital marketing strategist and entrepreneur with a passion for technology and communications. I’ve spent the last seven years working in communications and digital marketing in a variety of roles. I’ve consulted as the VP of Marketing for many startups and as the Director of Content Marketing. I’ve also helped train and develop entire content marketing teams within organizations and brands.
Early in my career, I worked as a digital strategist for the CBC, developing their first social media strategy for the maritimes and then with ad agencies before striking out on my own to start Foundation Marketing. Since then, I’ve built two additional companies; Hustle & Grind and Crate.
Over the years, I’ve had many conversations with executives about the value of a brand and what a brand actually represents. Some people think a brand is a pretty picture and some people think a brand is defined by whatever the executives come up with in the boardroom. I’m a believer that your brand is what people say about your company when they aren’t being asked questions in a focus group.
It’s not what YOU say about your brand, it’s what your AUDIENCE says about your brand. In public speaking, the same logic should be applied. Most people who give presentations like to believe that they are great at what they do. In reality, it’s the people who should define how great you are.
