Are you taking the stairs or the escalator?

By February 6th, 20183 Comments

Are Following the Masses?

You see that guy on the left? Yeah, he’s only a few steps away from getting to the top. He’ll reach the top before anyone else in this picture. While the crowd follows one another he tries to get to the top on his own terms.

  • He’s going to reach the top because he didn’t conform.
  • He’s going to reach the top because he wasn’t afraid to be different.
  • He’s going to reach the top because he didn’t take the easy way out.
  • He’s going to reach the top because he leads instead of follows.

Rather than following the crowd he has decided to initiate. He decided to put in the work rather than coast to the top like everyone else. He took the harder and less traveled way to the top,  and for that reason he’ll get there first.

Maybe he just needs to pee….Possibly.

BUT maybe, he just realizes the stairs are always more rewarding than an escalator.

What are you taking?
