His favourite phrase was, “Dammit, Chloe–we’re running out of time!” And more than once a day Chloe would get Jack the information he needed to survive. If that meant cracking a code or bending the rules – She got it done. Today however, time was one thing Jack didn’t have to spare.

• Jack Bauer was the go-to guy to save Washington or the World.
• Newspapers were the go-to source for Local and National News.
• Millions of people relied on Jack Bauer to  keep them alive
• Millions of people relied heavily on newspapers for their news.
  

Lets call Newspapers Jack Bauer… (Don’t Argue)

Well, Herald, Times, Post …Jack (there we go),

The Game has changed.

The millions and millions of people who relied heavily on you for information support can now get it from anyone. They can filter out whatever topics they aren’t  interested in and read about the ones that matter.

For the past few years, bloggers terrorists have been hacking away at Jacks ego and physique. As a result Jack’s health reached an all time low.Take a look at his heart rate,

Millions of people have been taken interrogated and tortured by Jack over the past few decades. Recently however, millions  have refused to flinch  or even shed a tear when met with Jacks interrogation tactics.

They fought back, they screamed.

“We don’t have to listen”

“We don’t have to put up with this”

With their passion for change this group of people created a force that even Jack couldn’t fight off. While the people around Jack, might call it terrorism – Others call it a Social Revolution.

A revolution that put Jack in the interrogation seat and ultimately a piece of his own medicine.

One Mans Plea to Save Newspapers Jack

Jack has tortured millions and millions of people and  still refuses to change. He refuses to move on from the old way of doing business and take advantage of new techniques and tools. He refuses to go against status quo. And it appears that he has accepted his fate.

With tons of radio stations, podcasts, videos and blogs online – Consumers can finally stand up and say “We don’t have to listen.” You’re not Jack Bauer – You won’t hold me hostage. If traditional media wants to thrive instead of survive – They are going to have to take a good hard look at the way they’re doing business and make some changes.

You see Jack, even when you’re being tortured you have a chance of survival. You have a chance to break free and be remarkable. Its up to you to decide whether or not you’re going to accept your fate and have a slow death. Or step up and make a move.
